Summer Fun! :-)

Just because we have been working hard with the move, we haven't been slacking in the fun department.

We went to the Peanut Butter and Jelly Festival in a near-by town. Every other Friday all summer long they have food, music, activities for the kids, etc. We had a good time. I forgot to put the card in the camera, but I got a picture of Abby's face painting...or what was left of it. She got a sun painted on her face and LOVED it. Some of it washed off while we were playing with water guns, but it was still too cute! :-) It was her very first face painting.

Abby's new swingset. We thought we were going to put up a big wooden set this summer, but we figured we probably shouldn't push our luck by trying to recuit people to help with ANOTHER project. hahaha. So, for now, this is PERFECT and she LOVES it.

and so does Daddy! hahaha!

Carlyle Lake is now just a short drive away. We decided to take Abby to play on the beach area. It ended up being the weekend that they had their Fouth of July festivities, so it was a big, 'rougher' crowd, but we played for a while and walked down by the damn, etc. Abby had a great time.
