What's new, you ask!

Just wanted to give a quick update on things around here...

**Abby-She will be starting her second year of pre-school in a few weeks. She's VERY excited to get back to school. She is going 3 days a week this year, for just 3hrs. each morning. I'm not about to part with her everyday for the public pre-K program yet! I know, I know...be quiet...she's my baby and I'm not ready for that yet! As I mentioned before, she's in a tumbling class...and, against what I have said before, she is in one of my classes. It's acutally working out great. She is such an angel in class and does everything I ask of her. It's like she knows the pressure is on because I'm her Mom AND her coach! haha! She has such a blast and she's doing so good. She will also be starting soccer in a couple of weeks. She's excited. I hope she enjoys it...and, Scott and I will be coaching that, also...more on that later! ha! She's as funny as ever, I am just so bad about getting it all documented these days. :( Her favorite movie right now is Willy Wonka. She thinks she's 16, but she is still the size of most 3 yr olds! haha! She's a VERY good girl and never gives us a minute of trouble. She also thinks she is Olivia's second mother! ha!

**Olivia-Oh, Olivia! What are we going to do with this one!? haha! She is wild, fearless, hard-headed, fiesty, she can be best described with the phrase 'constant destruction!' But, she is goofy and fun and just as sweet as they come! She will throw a book at you, then spend the next 30min. loving on you because she knows it was wrong. She's like that Sour Patch Kid commercial! haha! She says EVERYTHING. She loves playing with her big sister and her dog and destroying my house. She yells and she's demanding and she will look right at us and yell, 'water...NOW!' As if we will really let her get away with that. She thinks she is just as big and old as Abby, and there is nothing Abby can do that she doesn't think she can do...and, she will usually do it. She adores her big sister, she climbs everything and everywhere (which gives me a heart attack daily), she loves to read, she doesn't watch any TV so she has no idea who any of the characters are, she's a nightmare in the car, she laughs ALL day at EVERYTHING, she wrinkles her nose when she's nervous or when a stranger talks to her, and the only time she is quiet or still is when she is in a situation she isn't sure of or when she's asleep, and she runs and hides from me.

**Andrea-I can't tell anyone no, so I am so freakin' busy right now, it's insane. My resolution for 2011 is to STOP and say no everyone once in a while. I currenly have 3 jobs, I'm planning the fall dinner auction for Abby's school and I'm coaching Abby's soccer team this fall. I figure that I might be able to sit down and relax sometime around March of 2011! I recently was offered the head coaching position at a local high school to coach their varsity and competition cheerleaders. I will be taking over after football season, but I have been working with them here and there for the last 2 months. I am also teaching tumbling classes at a smaller gym out by our house, and I love it. It's so close to home, the kids and parents are great, I can take the girls with me when i need to, etc. I am also still at World Class, running their all-star cheer program and we doubled our numbers this year. BUT, with all the new opportunites coming my way, I have given my notice @ World Class and August 15th will be my last day! I am sad to leave the gym and the kids there, but it's time for me to go.

**Scott-Scott is busy with work and looking for a new car or truck to wheel and deal over! haha! Because of his lovely wife :), he is also coaching Abby's soccer team and he pulls solo kiddo duty when I am at work. And, let's face it, he puts up with me and the girls and that's a job in itself. He tries to play golf or fish when he can, but he also has 500 projects here he is working on or planning. He's the best! :)

As Seen on TV!

We saw a commercial once for this kit that makes these gigantor cupcakes. Abby was amazed and when I saw the kit at Garden Ridge the other day, I had to get it!

Here we go...get ready to have your mind blown by this super awesome great big cupcake! ha!

My little chefs! :)

The master mixer and the angry toddler that wants a turn! haha!

Well, we managed to bake them, let's see if we can put this thing together and ice it!

Voila...a big cupcake! ha! Funny thing is, it's still sitting in the kitchen and no one has even had a bite. We aren't big sweet or dessert eaters in this house, so I won't be surprised if it sits there uneaten until the day I finally toss it in the trash and we make another! ha!
Next on the list: sham-wow and a topsy turvy! Just kidding!

Just another day in paradise! :)

Normally I blog about all the fun things we do, places we go, etc. but really it's the day to day, ordinary life that I love the most! :)

Lots and lots and lots of reading....both of my girls are readers and it's so fun to see Abby learn and recognize new words. She is very into knowing how to spell EVERYTHING. She will be my little bookworm for sure! And, Liv would have you read to her for hours!

And, Dixon...oh, Dixon! We do love this dog, but he rarely makes it on the blog, so here he is in all his glory!

The other day I caught the girls trying to put a tu-tu on Dixin, and bless his heart he was just taking it...haha! Abby loves Dixon but she only wants to mess with him when it's convenient for her-ha! Liv, on the other hand would spend every waking minute with him by her side. She LOVES him so much! She's going to be our little animal lover...the one that cries to keep every stray! :)

Aunt Loree turns 90!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Paducah for Aunt Loree's birthday. The big 9-0! haha!

A little Baby Will time before we headed to the party! :)
Look at that group of good lookin' boys! :)

And, gorgeous ladies! :)

Abby and Thomas just hanging out...I would love to have heard that conversation! ha!

Liv and her Goggy!

Our family's little square of the quilt that they made for Aunt Loree.

And, Olivia making sure we got her picture with it! What a ham! haha!

Uncle Scott and Will! :)

Look at that doll baby!

My Mother in Law's little part of the Seaton Clan! :)

My Mother in Law and all of her cousins!

And, the birthday girl. Aunt Loree is the one in purple...I sure hope I look that good at 90!

We love get togethers with the Seatons! Always so much fun!! :)

Vacation!?!?!

A few weeks ago, Scott had a vacation. We tried to have a little vacation of sorts, but mostly it was us just rushing around from place to place, doing things and catching up on visiting. Not a vacation, per se, but still tons of fun! :)

Wednesday of that week, I had to drive to Bloomington, IL for cheer camp with the school squad that I just got hired to coach. SOOOOO fun!! Thursday night, it was back home and off to my parents. We went home for a long weekend for a wedding.

Me and Ang with our big girls! Angie and I have been friends since we were 6!! I just LOVE getting to see her and her family.

Ab and Ashton....I mean seriously, how darling!? And, they are such little mini-me's of me and Angie! ha! They had so much fun!

Fun horse in downtown Louisville!

Abby dressed up in more of my old costumes...this is from pilgrim day when I was in 1st or 2nd grade! haha!

Sunday night we headed back home and Mom and Dad tagged along. They stayed here with the girls and Scott and I headed to the lake for a couple of days! It was nice to just relax, shop, let someone else cook and clean, etc.

We headed home, got some things done around the house for a day or 2, and then we were off to Paducah for the FOURTH road trip of our vacation! :)

Better late than never...

HAPPY 4th of JULY! haha! I'm just a little behind!

We had a great 4th of July weekend. Mom and Dad came, we grilled delicious food, put on our own little firework show and had the best seat in the house for lots of big firework shows in the neighborhood and town even.

Yep...she's a Lawson...'get out of the beer cooler!' hahaha!
The parachute men...Abby's favorite. They chased these all over this yard...and, the field, and the neighbors yard....ha!

The anxious spectators! :)

Our garden! :)

We planted a pretty big garden this year. We are growing more food than we can eat. I think we are even going to try to can jalapenos! YUM! This year we have: corn, squash, zuchinni, cucumbers, watermelon, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, carrots and then our apple trees. The girls LOVE going out every night and tending to the garden. We picked our first watermelon a few days ago.

Such good little farmers! :)

This sums it up!

My Girls...both crazy gorgeous, both smart, funny and independent...but, that is where the similarities end! haha!

This picture just cracks me up...it's SO them! Abby in her pristine dance costume, cheesing for the camera and Liv in her messy shirt and shorts, couldn't care less about that dance costume or this picture! hahaha! I LOVE it!

Pool fun!

Our friends, Amanda and Richie, moved to FL recently! :( But, before they left we wanted to get the kiddos together to play, so we headed to the most fun pool for some fun in the sun!

haha...to have not a worry in the world! LOVE it!

Abby is just too big now...she spends all her time swimming with the big kids now! :(

And....Grace! haha! I love this. She was sitting in out for not listening to Amanda and she wouldn't look at me for anything! ha!

Little Gymnasts...

Both girls LOVE going to work with me and they love tumbling, Abby loves her classes, etc. Abby is doing so good. For those of you with tumbling knowledge, she has all of her basics, her cartwheels, round-offs, and she's working on her backbend kick overs, and will play around with back handsprings when I let her! She works really hard and practices a lot, flipping all over this house. :) Liv is a little natural. She will do and try anything, NO fear...if she sees Abby doing it, she's going to do it. She's like a little Gumby...the child can bend and stretch anywhere. She flips everywhere and she tries so hard to do cartwheels...soon enough I'm sure she will be doing it. The funniest thing ever is when she does crunches! haha! They watch me stretch and condition the older girls all the time at work, then they come home and try it...too funny!

Liv working on her cartwheel!

Stretching...

Pointing those pretty toes! :)

I need to get some action videos of Abby tumbling. It's really quite a show to see her tiny little butt flipping all over the place...

And, just being goofy and trying to carry each other around. Liv weighs just about as much as Abby, so watching this is a real show! haha!

Paducah and BABY WILL!

About a month ago we went to Paducah to spend a weekend with Scott's sister and BABY WILL...the most popular person in Liv's vocabulary! haha! These girls are crazy about their little cousin! :)

She is SO good with him and just loves him to pieces! And, she's such a big girl now!! She always talks about babysitting him-ha!

Sweet little man!

We got in lots of pool time that weekend. The girls just LOVE the pool and are such good little swimmers now.

Liv was cracking us up...she just floats and swims where ever she wants to go....her just floating around was so funny looking!

So much help.... :)

We had so much fun swimming, shopping, eating...the perfect weekend with family! :)

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
