Week 2....

Well...we are moving right along in week of 2 of having Olivia here. Before we know it, it will be 2 months, then 2 years...:( It just goes too fast!

With my girls! :)
This picture cracks me up. Notice: Abby is wearing Big Dora's shoes!-haha!
Little Sweetheart with her AWESOME hair!
Playtime with Daddy!
We put Olivia in the stroller for the first time tonight and took a little walk. We just did laps around the drive-way and front of the house, but it kept Abby entertained and put Olivia to sleep! :)

****I also spent the better part of the day getting all of my maternity clothes packed up. Good Riddance...ha! But, it was actually bittersweet. I am glad to be done with them, but sort of sad that I will never wear them again. (but you know how they say if you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans....so who knows what might happen, but for now....I have no plans to ever need them again:)

Weekend Visits....

We have had some very special visitors the last few days. Nanny got here Saturday morning. Abby and Nanny painted pumpkins and everything else, too.-haha!

Sunday my friend, Sarah, drove down to see us. It was so good to see her and have her meet Olivia.

haha-Look at Abby-haha!

Monday Gi-gi and Goggy came to visit. Olivia slept almost the entire time they were here, and I didn't get any pics, but we sure were glad to have them here! :)

Yuck!

Well, I have mastitis. I had it once when Abby was born and thought I was going to die. This time was no different. Talk about miserable. I think that when criminals are sentenced to prison, they should also get mastitis-haha! I guarantee crime rates would drastically drop! Thankfully, I started antibiotics yesterday and I am feeling better. I am so ready to feel like a normal human being again. But, being sick and feeling like pooh has helped with losing the baby weight. I only have about 4 or 5lbs. to go until I am at my pre-preggo weight. YAY! (you have to look for the positive in these situations-haha!)

And, of course.....it is ALL worth it, though, when you get to look at these 2 all day long! :) Talk about being blessed!
Resting with my girls. :)
Awwww....another Daddy's Girl!

Miss Olivia!

Each day we get a little more settled into life with our 2 girls. Olivia had a really good night last night. (and so did Abby-YAY!) We all got some much needed sleep. Abby and I got out today and went to the library and had lunch at Subway (her favorite place in the world-ha!) It was nice and we had a lot of fun, but I am feeling it a little and planning on resting the remainder of the day (or as much as I can). We are so lucky that Scott gets so much time off work. What a lifesaver. I think he is getting a little stir crazy, but he always manages to find something to do or somewhere to take Abby, so it works out good for everyone. (good thing he has that trench to drain every day-haha!)

Here are some new pics. ENJOY! :)
Tummy Time Champ-haha! She looks like a little turtle!
She got a little tired, so Abby was there with support and encouragement! :)

Also, she had her first Dr. appt. today. She has already gained her weight back and weighed in at a whopping 7lbs. 3oz.-haha! He said she is perfect, and that her hair needs to be trimmed.-haha! Everyone at the office was just oohing and ahhing over her. :) And, she lost her cord while we were there. YAY! She is now sporting a cute little belly button!

5 days old...

Just wanted to post some more pics of the girls. It took a few days for the extent of my exhaustion to kick in. I am quite sore, very tired and I have cabbage in my bra (for those of you that know about all of THAT fun-haha!) BUT....Olivia is doing GREAT. She is such a sweetheart. Abby is still just as crazy about her and is really good with her. She loves to hold her, play with her and scare her when she has the hiccups-ha! Oh, Scott is doing super, too. He is having loads of fun draining our trench, running errands and taking the brunt of Abby's frustrations. What a trooper!-ha! :)

And....always a crowd favorite...BIG DORA! Abby says this is her bathing suit and they went to the pool yesterday.
Bossing around Big Dora....for Dora's sake, I hope she listened!-ha!

Adjusting to life at home....

Well, after having a child that never sleeps, we are not too sure what to do with Miss Olivia.-haha! We are trying to not talk about it, for fear of jinxing it, and just enjoy our sleeping beauty. We had a great first night at home and we are enjoing a nice relaxing Sunday.

You know I can't resist posting pics of my girls!:)....Sisterly love! Abby sure is a good Big Sister.
Abby has been dying to get Olivia on this play mat. Olivia LOVED it!!-ha!

All bundled up after her first bath!
Rockin' the wild hair-haha! She looks like a little Indian! It is so AWESOME! I know she will probalby lose most of it, but I sure hope not.

Introducing Olivia Lawson Utley....

That's right....she's here! She is healthy, perfect, gorgeous and the sweetest little thing EVER!:) She was born Friday 9/19 at 1:04am! She didn't make us go through the induction and came on her own terms, just like I thought she would! She has the biggest eyes (even bigger than Abby's) and the wildest hair. Everyone just raves about it. Abby is in LOVE and is so excited about her. She just wants to hold her all the time, and talks about her non-stop. Despite the craziness of the last couple days, Abby has been an angel and has enjoyed her time with Nanny, Papaw, Gi-gi and Goggy!:) Olivia is a living doll. She is so good and content! I just want to hold her and love on her all day long. I won't talk long, as I know everyone just wants to see the pictures!

So....here she is!! She weighed in at 7lbs. 4oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long (exact same size as her big sister and looks just like her, too:)

Proud Grandparents!:)

Finally Meeting her Big Sister!! Abby was coming down the hall yelling, 'I'm coming, Olivia!'-haha!

My Favorite Picture EVER!
Me and My Girls!

Getting ready to leave the hospital!

Don't worry....she sports the bows, too! :)

Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes! We truly appreciate it! We have been blessed beyond belief.

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
