Couple of updates...

****1. Last night was Abby's first night of 'school!' Lebanon had the BEST Parents as Teachers program. I was hoping that the one in our new school district would be just as good. It is definitely different, but Abby had a BLAST and loved it. It is a pre-school based program through the school, but the parents go and participate, also. This year the program meets twice a month in the evenings. Last night's theme was A is for Apple. Abby was the youngest and the smallest (what's new-haha!), but that didn't stop her at all. She hung in there with all the big kids and had a great time. They read stories, had craft stations set up, games, snacks, etc. and they had a parade. We are looking forward to more fun and meeting some more new people! :) I didn't take my camera because I didn't know what all they would be doing last night, but I will get plenty of pics through-out the year, don't worry! ;)

AND......

****2. I had a Dr. appt. this morning, and I am offically going to be pregnant FOREVER!-haha! Okay, not really. I am another cm dilated (almost 4cm) and almost completely thinned out (that is for the ladies that know what all of that means. For any guys or women that don't have kiddos that read this, that means I am making progress and will hopefully go into labor soon-haha!) So, yeah!-at this point, she is about to fall out!-haha! But, with no reason to induce a perfectly healty mom and baby, I just have to play the waiting game. I go back on Wed. morning (I will be past my due date at this point). If I make it to that appt. they will begin to monitor the baby with non-stress tests and u/s's. If I still don't go into labor, they will induce between the 24th-27th, but won't let me go any longer than the 27th. While I am glad to hear a plan, it doesn't make it any easier to think that I might be pregnant for another 2 weeks! I don't necessarily want to be induced and I TOTALLY understand why they won't induce, and I am TRULY thankful that we are such a healthy mother/daughter team, I am just seriously ready to have her and no longer be pregnant. I guess I was hoping I would go in today and she would tell me that I was in labor and didn't know it or something-hahaha! Anyways, I really do think she will come on her own within the week. The Dr. also said that since I am so far progressed that when my contractions get to be 7min. apart, I need to get to the hospital, because it will hopefully be a fast labor. But, that just further magnifies my worry of: what if Scott is at work, what if my Mom can't make it here in time, what if I can't get a hold of anyone to take me to the hospital or take Abby, etc. So, while I have been on the verge of tears all day long, I have NOT let myself cry. I am staying positive and I am just going to up my walks even more and become one with my yoga ball.-haha!

*****AND, here is a story for you...Abby and some cookies managed to keep me cheered up today, but while were at Subway, Abby announced to everyone that 'Daddy said son of a bitch to Dixon!' OH MY WORD!! I told her that Daddy should not have said that, and that the next time he does, he is going straight to the naughty chair-haha. I am not sure if that was more embarassing or when the told the whole Dr.s office to 'look at Mommy's big boobies!' and then went on to tell them that she had little boobies, but when they got big, she would get a bra!-hahaha! Oh, and I have HOW more years of this?????-haha!

We are praying for you. Mom was asking about you today at playgroup. She completely understands the waiting game. Pete was the third child and 3 weeks late. She thought she was going to be pregnant forever too. Everything will work out, don't stress about it. We are here for you.

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
