39 Weeks....

Okay, I edited to add this picutre. Abby fell and got a scrape and had to get a band-aid, so she gave Olivia one, too. BUT....I wanted to also point out that this pic was JUST taken and the one in the black shirt was on Friday....am I crazy, or has she dropped quite a bit?

Well, here we are at 39 weeks and still hanging in there. (sigh-haha)

I have decided that we are no longer going to acknowledge the fact that I am pregnant. No more talking about it, no more preparing for it, no more guessing when she might get here, NOTHING! I can't take it anymore. If I think about it for one more second, I am going to burst into tears. It very well could be another 3 weeks before she is here, and at this rate I am just making myself insane and I am turning into a grumpy lunatic.

This weekend would have been the perfect time for her to arrive. Mom was here, my Sister was in town, Scott wasn't working....but, of course, that would have been too easy. I am a wreck worrying myself over what we will do when I go into labor if Scott is at work, or it's the middle of the night, etc. For one, it will take family at least 3 hrs. to get here. (thankfully, we do have some friends that can help out with Abby until family can get here, but I will feel awful having to call someone at 3am, etc.) But, if Scott is at work and I do get a hold of him the first try, it would still be an hour before he could get here. (which has me a wreck over having to possibly drive myself to the hospital, or worse case scenario: having to call an ambulance) Hopefully, going into labor will NOT be dramatic or result in any of those situations, but it still makes me nervous. Anyways, with everyone being here I tried everything I could think of to naturally make myself go into labor. I ate eggplant Friday and Saturday, I have upped my walking (walking close to 3 miles each day), and even ran a little on the treadmill (that was a REALLY stupid idea, by the way-haha), and I have been bouncing on my yoga ball! Progress so far....the thought of eggplant makes me want to puke and I am sore. haha!

Well, I am sure that I will make it to my appt. on Thur. and the Dr. will simply say, 'see you next week, unless she gets here before then.' and I am sure I will be going back in the following week, too. And, if I have one more person tell me that they are so shocked I am still pregnant, 'because you usually go earlier with your second.' I am going to SCREAM! I think the next comment I get I am going to respond by saying, 'well, I am currently in the running for the world's longest pregnancy, so I am hoping she stays in until October!' haha!

So, there will probably be no more baby talk on here until I am posting pictures of our new girl, because as of now....Pregnant???...Who???....I don't know what you are talking about! hahaha!

Wow!! When I read this earlier, I thought, poor Annie, she doesn't even look like she has dropped. In the new pic, though, you look like you have definitely dropped a little. So much for not talking about being pregnant. . . :) Love you!!

You look great for a lady so near to giving birth! Casey and Scott already talked about it, but we would love to come and watch Abby (no matter what time) or if you need me to drive to your house and watch her while Scott meets you at the hospital we'd love to help in any way!
:) Let us know!!

You know you can call me at 3 in the morning - and if you can't reach Scott during the day, you can call me then too.

i can't believe you're still pregnant, because you usually go earlier with your second...
j/k! haha! seriously, things will work out perfectly- scott will just have to drive home from work a little faster than normal. actually i think if you call the police, they will actually give you an escort and you can drive even faster! now that would be a good story to tell... :)

Shell-Not sure who you or your friend are (or am I just blanking here?), but I certainly am hoping that she makes it to 32 weeks or more. Trust me, we know how blessed we are to have carried a healthy baby to term! Just anxious to meet the little one!:)

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
