Christmas Eve Morning!

Since we had so much traveling to do, we let Santa know that it would be really great if he could visit our house Christmas Eve morning, and he did! :)

Abby only asked for 2 things this year: a yo-yo and a snowglobe. This very special snowglobe was waiting for her, along with a letter when she woke up! She was so excited!

Posing with her gifts, waiting for Liv to wake up!

She finally got her little lazy butt up and the girls were so excited to eat breakfast on their new craft table! :)

The yo-yo!

Liv could really care less about the gifts, but she would humor us and rip off a piece of paper or 2 and look at the gift for a second. haha!

And, they promptly piled all new gifts and toys into their new tent.

We LOVE games, and luckily Abby got a lot of new games this year! Hi-ho Cherry O is a favorite! And, that child is a Jenga pro! We had it build 32 levels the other night, and I believe 36 is as high as it can go!

Finally-The Start of Christmas Photos!

Once again, I am uber-behind on my blogging. But, I have a TON of Holiday photos that I am determined to get posted today! We will start with our trip to look at lights and see Santa and Abby's Christmas party at school! :)

Highland has the best lights around. This is our 3rd year to go, and Abby always has a blast. This is the first time we have visited Santa while were there! Abby pulled a total Ralphie moment and when Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she just looked at him blankly and finally said, 'uuuhhhhh, a Barbie!' hahaha!

Anways, here we are looking at all the lights and exhibits!

Liv was in heaven running free like a wild woman! :)

Oh. My. Gosh! Santa was RIGHT inside there!!!

Not a chance that she was sitting on his lap, but she did get close enough for a pic. Liv on the other hand, did NOT! haha!

I got to go to school with Abby and be the parent volunter for her class Christmas party! We were both SO excited!!! I had a BLAST! The kids are so sweet and so fun.
The 3 Wise Men came to visit the class and told them all about the gifts they brought to Baby Jesus! :)
And, the class had a HUGE Birthday Party for Jesus! So fun! :)

Other Christmas Card Options!...

Merry Stinkin' Christmas! I LOVE this picture. Liv with the Grinch could not be more accurate...she is something else these days. She's a sweetie, no doubt, but she has a mean streak, too...haha! She is rotten to the core. Some days we call her Grandpa Lee, if that's any indication...haha!
hahahaha! This is SO them, too!

Abby and her stuffed animals. She is so invested in them...it's so sweet!

And, I give you....FUNNIEST. PICTURE. EVER! hahahaha! It looks like Santa is giving her an ear full (and, I will say he was the worst Santa I have ever seen. I was just waiting to see him out back with a cigarette and a flask of Jack Daniels!)

It's a PARTY!!!

The Saturday after Abby's birthday we had her big party! Both sets of Grandparents came in town, and loads of Abby's friends, and our friends, too! :)

This little one has her Grandpa's wrapped! She prefers to them over anyone else! (much to my Mom's dismay...hahaha!)
Abby and Grace! LOVE this picture!! Such little cuties! They have been friends since they were about 1 1/2! I can't believe they are 4!!

More friends! :) Little Cole was a trooper. He was one of only 2 boys at the dress-up girly princess cheerleading party, and he hung right in there. He is a MEGA sweetie. He told his Mom and that him and Abby hold hands at recess! When Scott first heard, he about flipped-ha!, but now that we know Cole, he's just such a doll! It's so adorable! Abby just loves him!

We had lots of activities to keep the kiddos busy: dress up clothes, we decorated hats, made picture frames, played games, pinata, face painting...just to name a few!

But, they all would have been just as happy playing in Abby's room the entire time! ha!

The Party Crew!! :)

Such a happy girl!

We got her this vanity/beauty shop and she was over there playing with it and we heard, 'mirror mirror on the wall.....' hahahaha! She is a TRIP!

Jennifer the master painter. I had practiced earlier in the week on Abby's face and then Jennifer painted this megaphone and Abby yelled to me, 'Look, Mom...this is how you do it!' hahaha!

Future Taylor Swift!

Wild, happy kiddos...nothing better!

Thanks, to everyone for a super birthday. Instead of having our guests bring gifts for Abby, we collected donations and then Abby picked 2 angels from the Salvation Angel Tree and we bought gifts for them. Abby and her friends raised almost $150!!! We can't thank all of them enough for making it a success! What a blessing to have such wonderful, giving people in our lives!

My Baby is FOUR!!!

Miss Abigail Jenette turned the big FOUR on Dec. 3rd!! I like to make a HUGE deal about birthday's, so we always decorate the house and her door and everything else that stands still for longer than 2min! ha!

The Birthday Girl just after waking up!
She had school that day, and they made sure she had a special day at school, also! :)

Opening some gifts that night!

Now, those of you that know Abby, you know she would NEVER eat cake, doesn't like it, doesn't like any sweets. So, we were just planning to stick some candles in a cookie or a bag of m&m's. On the way to school that morning she pulls out....'so, what kind of cake did you make me!?' Uhhhhh...I dropped her off, ran to grocery, whipped up a cake while she was at school, and she had her cake! haha!

Abby might not eat cake, but this one sure does!
haha! I could eat that sweet little face up!

Love this picture! Her cute little butt in those dance outfits and her boots! She's a little living doll!! And, Frosty is the hit of the season! Thanks, so much Amanda and Wickenkamp family!! :)

Me and my birthday girl! :).....
and, both of my little angels!

Scott and his girls. Now, I know he would be a super dad to whatever we had, but I think he was made to be the Daddy of little girls! :) I told him the other night, I hope he ends up with all Grandaughters, too. I can just see it now....haha! I love it!

Family Photo!! :)

I know I talk about how funny and smart and great Abby is all the time, so I will spare everyone all of that, but I will say that the last 4 years have been the best of my life. She has brought so much joy, laughter and fun to so many people. I get stopped at school all the time by other parents, teachers and school workers. telling me how darling she is and how hilarious she is, and how they just love hearing her talk, etc. Her teachers adore her, she has so many sweet little friends, she has the most adorable imagination and she is truly an amazing little girl! God could not have blessed us more!

Random Pictures!

Just a random little collection of recent pictures!

Abby and I made our first homemade tu-tu! It turned out soooo cute...and, of course, we had to make a crown and decor for her ballet slippers! :) Beautiful! Swan Lake look no further, we have your principal ballerina right here!

Liv's hair is getting so long (and curly...I LOVE it!:) When it's wet it's almost to the middle of her back!
And, our Christmas card photo attempt! This was the best shot I got! hahaha! Oh well! (by the way, this is NOT the photo on the cards...haha!

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
