Other Christmas Card Options!...

Merry Stinkin' Christmas! I LOVE this picture. Liv with the Grinch could not be more accurate...she is something else these days. She's a sweetie, no doubt, but she has a mean streak, too...haha! She is rotten to the core. Some days we call her Grandpa Lee, if that's any indication...haha!
hahahaha! This is SO them, too!

Abby and her stuffed animals. She is so invested in them...it's so sweet!

And, I give you....FUNNIEST. PICTURE. EVER! hahahaha! It looks like Santa is giving her an ear full (and, I will say he was the worst Santa I have ever seen. I was just waiting to see him out back with a cigarette and a flask of Jack Daniels!)

It's a PARTY!!!

The Saturday after Abby's birthday we had her big party! Both sets of Grandparents came in town, and loads of Abby's friends, and our friends, too! :)

This little one has her Grandpa's wrapped! She prefers to them over anyone else! (much to my Mom's dismay...hahaha!)
Abby and Grace! LOVE this picture!! Such little cuties! They have been friends since they were about 1 1/2! I can't believe they are 4!!

More friends! :) Little Cole was a trooper. He was one of only 2 boys at the dress-up girly princess cheerleading party, and he hung right in there. He is a MEGA sweetie. He told his Mom and that him and Abby hold hands at recess! When Scott first heard, he about flipped-ha!, but now that we know Cole, he's just such a doll! It's so adorable! Abby just loves him!

We had lots of activities to keep the kiddos busy: dress up clothes, we decorated hats, made picture frames, played games, pinata, face painting...just to name a few!

But, they all would have been just as happy playing in Abby's room the entire time! ha!

The Party Crew!! :)

Such a happy girl!

We got her this vanity/beauty shop and she was over there playing with it and we heard, 'mirror mirror on the wall.....' hahahaha! She is a TRIP!

Jennifer the master painter. I had practiced earlier in the week on Abby's face and then Jennifer painted this megaphone and Abby yelled to me, 'Look, Mom...this is how you do it!' hahaha!

Future Taylor Swift!

Wild, happy kiddos...nothing better!

Thanks, to everyone for a super birthday. Instead of having our guests bring gifts for Abby, we collected donations and then Abby picked 2 angels from the Salvation Angel Tree and we bought gifts for them. Abby and her friends raised almost $150!!! We can't thank all of them enough for making it a success! What a blessing to have such wonderful, giving people in our lives!

My Baby is FOUR!!!

Miss Abigail Jenette turned the big FOUR on Dec. 3rd!! I like to make a HUGE deal about birthday's, so we always decorate the house and her door and everything else that stands still for longer than 2min! ha!

The Birthday Girl just after waking up!
She had school that day, and they made sure she had a special day at school, also! :)

Opening some gifts that night!

Now, those of you that know Abby, you know she would NEVER eat cake, doesn't like it, doesn't like any sweets. So, we were just planning to stick some candles in a cookie or a bag of m&m's. On the way to school that morning she pulls out....'so, what kind of cake did you make me!?' Uhhhhh...I dropped her off, ran to grocery, whipped up a cake while she was at school, and she had her cake! haha!

Abby might not eat cake, but this one sure does!
haha! I could eat that sweet little face up!

Love this picture! Her cute little butt in those dance outfits and her boots! She's a little living doll!! And, Frosty is the hit of the season! Thanks, so much Amanda and Wickenkamp family!! :)

Me and my birthday girl! :).....
and, both of my little angels!

Scott and his girls. Now, I know he would be a super dad to whatever we had, but I think he was made to be the Daddy of little girls! :) I told him the other night, I hope he ends up with all Grandaughters, too. I can just see it now....haha! I love it!

Family Photo!! :)

I know I talk about how funny and smart and great Abby is all the time, so I will spare everyone all of that, but I will say that the last 4 years have been the best of my life. She has brought so much joy, laughter and fun to so many people. I get stopped at school all the time by other parents, teachers and school workers. telling me how darling she is and how hilarious she is, and how they just love hearing her talk, etc. Her teachers adore her, she has so many sweet little friends, she has the most adorable imagination and she is truly an amazing little girl! God could not have blessed us more!

Random Pictures!

Just a random little collection of recent pictures!

Abby and I made our first homemade tu-tu! It turned out soooo cute...and, of course, we had to make a crown and decor for her ballet slippers! :) Beautiful! Swan Lake look no further, we have your principal ballerina right here!

Liv's hair is getting so long (and curly...I LOVE it!:) When it's wet it's almost to the middle of her back!
And, our Christmas card photo attempt! This was the best shot I got! hahaha! Oh well! (by the way, this is NOT the photo on the cards...haha!

Thanksgiving!

We headed home to Mom and Dad's last week for Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving at home because my sister and her family are able to make it for the week, too.

We started off Thanksgiving morning at Fast Freddies. We can walk to the fairgrounds from Mom and Dads, so we have everyone meet there and all head over. This year we had a pretty good group of friends and family running!

My brother in law finishing the race....
and Scott....

and, the kids were unimpressed and freezing...haha!

Getting ready to head to my brother and sister in laws for dinner!
Classic family photo...Abby has underwear on her head, Liv is mad and if you look closely you can see why...see whose hand is in her snack bag!? hahaha! I love it!

After Marsha's (which, by the way, my sister in law makes THE BEST Thanksgiving dinner EVER!!!:), we headed to Aunt Karens to visit with more family! Abby LOVES Aunt Karen. She has such a fun house and she spoils Abby rotten!
Some of the girls!
I won't embarass him and put this on Facebook, but I couldn't pass up the blog! My nephew, Billy, in my Uggs...and sweats! haha! He looked like Napolean Dynamite! ha!
Dad and his buddy!! They are a pair!

An attempt at a group shot with Grandpa Dan!
This just makes me laugh...look at Bill in the background! haha! And, yes....Abby still wears her Halloween costume EVERY day!
The girls cooking waffles with Aunt Michelle! :)
Mom told the kids that this was a mouse hole (it's really just to run cable to the basement), well they decided to put cheese in front of it and wait to see if the mouse came out. Mom had them waiting and went to grab a quick shower (she should have known better). They shoved all the cheese IN the hole and then decided to get their tools to get it all out! haha! I'm sure Mom is still digging cheese from that hole today! ha!

And, now we are home and already missing everyone! :(

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
