Our big news....

I know most people have already seen this on Facebook, but just for the record books, here is our big news...another little Utley! :) I wanted to document some things on here too, that I didn't want to bore Facebook with! ha! Mostly for my own reasons, but I LOVE hearing about pregnancies and I get so excited for people, so maybe some of you readers are into hearing all these details, too! :)

*We are due Sept. 9th. I am 11 weeks today! :)
*We are NOT finding out what we are having. It's going to be a surprise to all of us!
*No, we are not trying or hoping for a boy. Oh, that question/comment gets on my last nerve. We are hoping for a healthy baby. We will be thrilled no matter what it is.
*That being said, I am about 99.999% sure it is a girl! :) I feel JUST like I did with both of my other pregnancies. My prediction as of now is girl, Scott's prediction is girl and both girls say it's a girl! Liv wants it to be a girl and she wants to name it Fancy! ha! Of course, right!? :)
*I have been SICK! Very nauseous, very exhausted. I am on the verge of vomiting if I don't eat enough, yet on the verge of vomiting if I do eat or eat too much! I will have a good day, then can barely move the next day. It was just like this with the girls, too, and thankfully around 12-14 weeks I was feeling like a million bucks, so I am hoping that is the case again! FINGERS CROSSED, people!
*I don't look pregnant or have a belly or anything like that yet, but I can feel my clothes starting to fit differently.  I hate that in-between stage. Once I get here, I'm just ready for a belly to pop. Again, this was the same with the girls. I think I started wearing maternity clothes around 20 weeks or so with both of them. I might just give in a wear them sooner this time, though, just for comfort sake! haha!
*We've already had one u/s, and everything looked great. We heard and saw a strong heart beat. That is the BEST! I go back next week for my 12 week appt. I know it's only 12 weeks, but it's already going so quickly.
*My coaching job at the college is not a big deal pregnancy wise. I will work right through the whole pregnancy no problem, BUT I also coach tumbling and gymnastics at a gym and I can't work past 16 weeks doing that. :( Just too risky, so the doc is shutting me down there soon. If I don't have a belly yet, she said I can maybe work a bit longer. I coach older girls and advanced tumblers and the chance of getting kicked or landed on is just not worth taking the risk. Plus, all the heavy lifting while spotting them. I had low lying placenta with both girls so we just don't want to take any chances. I will miss the girls so much, but it will be nice to have a little break for a while and have the spring and summer to cram in lots of family time and time with my girls! :)
*I will try to update more and fill everyone in on all the other fun we've been up to soon! Now that I will have some more time on my hands, I have no excuses, right?!?! ha! At least until Sept! ;)

I DID see this on fb... & wanted to say CONGRATS...but you KNOW I just can't say that... (but I didn't wanna say it on fb & have ppl think i'm being rude...)
GIRL - WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? YOU HAVE TO BE OUT OF YOUR MIND.

HAHA, just kidding... kinda... And I'm hoping for BLUE!

Haha! You should have left that comment, Jaime! You know I would have LOVED it! And, after days like today, I even wonder a little if I am out of my mind! ;) Good thing I strive on chaos! ha! It's going to be a circus around here!

It IS a circus but it is sooooo fun!!! My advice.....be laid back and just roll with it. Heck, Jake wears some things out of this house that I would have NEVER let Sam wear but quite honestly I am just glad he's not naked!! ha ha!!!! I would have more but we are just done. I feel it.

I also HATE when people used to ask me if I was "trying" for a girl. No. I wanted 3 children so that's what I am having. I can't help what sex they come out. People still say "Oh you finally got that girl." Pisses me off!

CONGRATS! CONGRATS! CONGRATS!!! I remember when you and I were pregnant together with Liv and Jake. So fun that you and Angie are pregnant together! I will think of you this summer when it's a million degrees!!! I can't wait to hear allllll about it!!! :) :)

Congratulations!!! We are done with two as well, but I always get asked if why I'm not trying for a girl. I know people mean well. Looking forward to reading about it.

SO very happy and excited for all of you!! So funny that I was thinking of you and wondering how it was all going and seriously just a couple days later you made the big announcement. It's that heart line...
The question that I always hated when I was pregnant with Harper- "oh, you already have one of each, so why did you decide to have another?" Seriously?? Not your business, ppl!
Hope you start feeling better soon! Love and miss you!
BTW- does this mean we're not meeting in FL again this summer?! =)

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
