Our big news....

I know most people have already seen this on Facebook, but just for the record books, here is our big news...another little Utley! :) I wanted to document some things on here too, that I didn't want to bore Facebook with! ha! Mostly for my own reasons, but I LOVE hearing about pregnancies and I get so excited for people, so maybe some of you readers are into hearing all these details, too! :)

*We are due Sept. 9th. I am 11 weeks today! :)
*We are NOT finding out what we are having. It's going to be a surprise to all of us!
*No, we are not trying or hoping for a boy. Oh, that question/comment gets on my last nerve. We are hoping for a healthy baby. We will be thrilled no matter what it is.
*That being said, I am about 99.999% sure it is a girl! :) I feel JUST like I did with both of my other pregnancies. My prediction as of now is girl, Scott's prediction is girl and both girls say it's a girl! Liv wants it to be a girl and she wants to name it Fancy! ha! Of course, right!? :)
*I have been SICK! Very nauseous, very exhausted. I am on the verge of vomiting if I don't eat enough, yet on the verge of vomiting if I do eat or eat too much! I will have a good day, then can barely move the next day. It was just like this with the girls, too, and thankfully around 12-14 weeks I was feeling like a million bucks, so I am hoping that is the case again! FINGERS CROSSED, people!
*I don't look pregnant or have a belly or anything like that yet, but I can feel my clothes starting to fit differently.  I hate that in-between stage. Once I get here, I'm just ready for a belly to pop. Again, this was the same with the girls. I think I started wearing maternity clothes around 20 weeks or so with both of them. I might just give in a wear them sooner this time, though, just for comfort sake! haha!
*We've already had one u/s, and everything looked great. We heard and saw a strong heart beat. That is the BEST! I go back next week for my 12 week appt. I know it's only 12 weeks, but it's already going so quickly.
*My coaching job at the college is not a big deal pregnancy wise. I will work right through the whole pregnancy no problem, BUT I also coach tumbling and gymnastics at a gym and I can't work past 16 weeks doing that. :( Just too risky, so the doc is shutting me down there soon. If I don't have a belly yet, she said I can maybe work a bit longer. I coach older girls and advanced tumblers and the chance of getting kicked or landed on is just not worth taking the risk. Plus, all the heavy lifting while spotting them. I had low lying placenta with both girls so we just don't want to take any chances. I will miss the girls so much, but it will be nice to have a little break for a while and have the spring and summer to cram in lots of family time and time with my girls! :)
*I will try to update more and fill everyone in on all the other fun we've been up to soon! Now that I will have some more time on my hands, I have no excuses, right?!?! ha! At least until Sept! ;)

About Me

Welcome to our life! :) Our life seems to be a constant 3 ring circus these days, but we have a lot of fun, laugh a lot and enjoy every minute of it (okay...almost every minute-haha!) Scott and I have been married for almost 9 years, and we are the parents of 2 amazing daughters, and another little one on the way. This blog is a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a 'year book' of sorts for our family. Enjoy!!
